FOREST, Va. --- The fans have spoken in the first ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll. Bridgewater College takes home the first win of the season behind the long catch-and-run from receiver Corey Jochim in the closing seconds of the Eagles' season-opening victory over Gettysburg College.

With under a minute to play and no timeouts, Bridgewater caught lightening in a bottle on the way to a 27-24 win over Gettysburg. Jochim picked a good time to record his first catch of the game as he pulled in a 5-yard hitch from Brendon Maturey and turned it into a 65-yard game-winning touchdown.

This week's four nominees garnered more that 4,500 interactions on the ODAC website, YouTube, and various other social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) outlets. Jochim's catch received more than 69-percent of the fan vote.
