The Short Story: The Roanoke College men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 shutout in the quarterfinals of the 2022 ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament on Saturday evening over Bridgewater at Kerr Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half with the score remaining 0-0 at the break.
- It did not take too long in the second half for the Maroons to score the game-winner. Liam Camilleri headed in a mis-played rebound off the Eagles goalie for the goal and the 1-0 lead at 53:56.
- Both teams played a defensive battle the remaining 36 minutes as the Maroons held on for the win.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Zach Behe played all 90 minutes in goal for the win as he improves to 9-6-2 this season.
