The Short Story: The Roanoke College men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 shutout in the quarterfinals of the 2022 ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament on Saturday evening over Bridgewater at Kerr Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half with the score remaining 0-0 at the break.
• It did not take too long in the second half for the Maroons to score the game-winner. Liam Camilleri headed in a mis-played rebound off the Eagles goalie for the goal and the 1-0 lead at 53:56.
• Both teams played a defensive battle the remaining 36 minutes as the Maroons held on for the win.

BY THE NUMBERS

• Zach Behe played all 90 minutes in goal for the win as he improves to 9-6-2 this season.

UP NEXT

• The Maroons next host No. 8 Hampden-Sydney on Wednesday, Nov. 2 after the Tigers defeated No. 1 seed and nationally ranked No. 25 Lynchburg in the quarterfinals, 1-0
