The Lead: The Roanoke men's tennis team was back in action on Sunday afternoon when they hosted Randolph-Macon in a rescheduled match from earlier in the season. The Maroons took two of the three doubles matches for a 2-1 lead. However, the Yellow Jackets rallied in singles play to pick up a 6-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win.

Highlights:

  • Roanoke would take a 2-1 lead after the doubles round of matches. Jack Fishwick and Grayson White picked up an 8-2 win at the top spot.
  • At #2 doubles, the duo of Dalton Capobianco and Zach Kriebel gave the Maroons the lead with an 8-5 victory.
  • Fishwick picked up a win at the top individual spot by defeating Max Hammock, 6-1 and 6-1.
  • Lance Beheler won the first set at #6, 6-3, but fell in the second 6-2 to set up a 10 point pro set. Beheler fell 10-3 in the longest match of the afternoon.
