The Short Story: Guilford swept the visiting Maroons in a conference contest, leveling Roanoke's ODAC record at 1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Guilford claimed a 3-0 advantage by winning the three doubles matches. Andres Mercedes and Tye Sasser beat Federico Maccari and Julio Marques 8-3 at #1 doubles, Drake Schreiber and Rishi Halukurike handed Zach Kriebel and Hardt Lesko an 8-0 defeat at #2, and Evan Wong and Rylan Tuten beat John-Henry Herrington and Jackson Wagner 8-2 in the #3 flight.
• The Quakers secured the victory in singles play when Tuten defeated Harrington 6-0, 6-0 at the #5 spot and Wong topped Marques 6-0, 6-3 at #4.
• Guilford rounded out the win with wins for Mercedes over Maccari at #1 singles (6-1, 6-1), Schreiber against Kriebel at #2 (6-4, 6-4), Sasser over Lesko at #3 (6-3, 7-5), and Dominik Pocrnja against Lance Beheler at #6 (6-0, 6-4).
