HOW IT HAPPENED

• Roanoke marched out to a 3-0 lead in doubles play without dropping a game. Federico Maccari and Zach Kriebel swept Gabriel Alvarez and Nico Roth, Hardt Lesko and John-Henry Herrington blanked Josh Johnson and Alexis Fidalgo, and Julio Marques and Jackson Wagner won 8-0 over Will Davis and Ryon Johnson.
• The Maroons secured the dual match victory with tidy wins from Kriebel over Roth at #2 singles (6-0, 6-0) and Herrington against Fidalgo at #4 (6-0, 6-0).
• Elsewhere, Macccari downed Alvarez at #1 singles (6-0, 6-2), Lesko beat Davis at #3 (6-0, 6-0), Lance Beheler dispatched Josh Johnson at #5 (6-0, 6-0), and Wagner knocked off Hunter Hooper at #6 (6-0, 6-0).
