How it Happened/Highlights:

  • Goals by Wyatt Whitlow and Ethan Caldwell in the first two minutes were part of a 6-2 first quarter for the Maroons. Julian Kammerman (2x), Luke Kammerman, and Aidan Sullivan all added to Roanoke's total.
  • The second quarter was all Maroons as Roanoke continued a 7-0 run with the first five goals of the period to stake themselves an 11-2 lead. After an Eagle goal with 1:47 left before halftime, Noah Goad scored his second goal of the contest with just 35 seconds left as Roanoke lead 12-3 at the break.

  • Caldwell scored his third of the game before a pair of Eagles goals cut the lead down to 22-9. However, the Maroons added to their lead with tallies from Whitlow, Quinn Evans, Noah Bell, and Anthony Muniz. Two late goals by Bridgewater were not enough to overcome the Roanoke lead as the Maroons finished with a 26-11 win on the road.
