Shenandoah (19-10), winner of last season's ODAC title, had its eyes set on a third conference championship in as many final game appearances. SU won its first crown in 2019 as the eight seed, marking the most improbable run (based on seeding) to a title in league history. After hoisting last year's trophy as the fourth seed, the Hornets were seeking a second four-game championship as this year's seventh seed.

Both W&L and SU saw three players post double-figure scoring totals. The Generals were led by tournament MOP Mary Schleusner, who finished with 30 points and 19 rebounds to go with five blocked shots and two steals. She registered 40 rebounds for the tournament -- eight vs. Ferrum, 13 vs. Randolph, 19 vs. Shenandoah -- marking the fourth-highest total in tournament history and fifth on the all-time list (two tied at 43).

Generals teammates Hanna Malik and Kathryn Vandiver earned All-Tournament spots. Vandiver joined Schleusner with a double-double as she registered 14 points and 10 boards to go with five assists, three blocked shots, and a steal. Malik flirted with triple-double territory as she finished with 12 points, six boards, and seven assists.

Greene led Shenandoah with 16 points to go with three assists, three steals and two rebounds. She post 70 points over the four tournament games, which falls just outside the ODAC's top-10 because teammate Madisen Kimble tied former Randolph-Macon College standout Kelly Williams for #1 all-time with 79 points. Kimble followed up her 32-point effort in the semifinals with 14 markers against W&L. She added six rebounds, six assists, and four steals. She made 13 total three-pointers over the four games, tying former Virginia Wesleyan University shooter Reagan Holmes for #1 all-time.

Gabby Krystofiak joined her all-tournament team teammates in double figures with 12 points. She added five rebounds to her effort.
