Shenandoah Wins Baseball Crown, Claims School's First ODAC Title
The No. 8/10 Shenandoah baseball team claimed the university's first-ever ODAC Championship with a 4-2 victory over Virginia Wesleyan Sunday at Lynchburg City Stadium. Darrell Thompson threw a complete game six-hitter for the Hornets (27-8-1) in winner take all championship game of the tournament. VWC (19-14) forced that final contest with a 9-8 victory in the first game of the day.

Second-seeded Virginia Wesleyan snapped a 2-2 tie with a run in the sixth and added a pair of insurance runs in the eighth to defeat third-seeded Randolph-Macon 5-3 in an elimination game Sunday afternoon in the 2015 ODAC Baseball Tournament at City Stadium.

The Roanoke College baseball team battled to the final inning, but fell in their third game of the 2015 ODAC Baseball Championships, 3-2 to Virginia Wesleyan. The Maroons close the season with a record of 17-15, while the Marlins advanced to play #3 seed Randolph-Macon, a game that is currently suspended to Sunday.

RC Wins First-Ever ODAC Tournament Game With 5-1 Victory Over EMU
For the first time in school history, the Roanoke College baseball team won a game in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament. The Maroons defeated Eastern Mennonite 5-1 in Friday afternoon's contest. The Maroons have a record of 17-14, while the Royals close their season with a record of 16-18.

VWC's Bach, Greiser Headline ODAC Baseball Awards
Virginia Wesleyan took home two major honors as part of the 2015 ODAC Baseball Awards. Zach Bach earned ODAC Player of the Year laurels, while Sean Greiser was tabbed the ODAC Pitcher of the Year. Eastern Mennonite mentor Ben Spotts received ODAC Coach of the Year recognition, while Randolph-Macon's Rick Spiers was selected as the ODAC Rookie of the Year. Hampden-Sydney's Jeff Gray was named the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete.

Six Teams Set for ODAC Baseball Tournament
Shenandoah University (22-6-1 overall, 16-4 in ODAC play) secured the top seed in the ODAC Baseball Tournament for the second straight year, winning 16 league games as six schools prepare for four days of play at City Stadium in Lynchburg. Competition begins on Thursday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m.
