ASHLAND, Va. --- The top-seeded Washington and Lee men's tennis team advanced to the ODAC Championship match with a 5-0 victory over fourth-seeded Emory & Henry in the conference semifinals on Saturday morning at Randolph-Macon.
The Generals carried a 3-0 advantage into singles play after taking all three doubles matches. Seniors Ben Fass and Brian Roberts clinched the match with their wins at No. 5 & 6 singles, respectively.
With the win, W&L improved to 14-4 overall, while Emory
& Henry ends its season with a 15-7 mark.
The Generals will meet either second-seeded Bridgewater or
third-seeded Guilford in Sunday's championship match at 10:00
am.
