Game 3: Lerro's Sends Hornets to Championship with OT Winner Over Shenandoah
University of Lynchburg senior Jackie Lerro does not falter in big moments as the Royersford, Pa. native stepped up and scored the game-winning goal Friday night in Lynchburg field hockey's 5-4 overtime ODAC semifinal victory over Shenandoah University in what was a rematch of the 2019 ODAC championship. The Hornets will play host to Washington and Lee University for the ODAC championship on Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m.

Game 2: Hurley's Goal Enough in Roanoke's Win Over Randolph-Macon
The third seeded Roanoke field hockey team played host to the #6 seed Randolph-Macon in the quarterfinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference(ODAC) Field Hockey Tournament on Tuesday afternoon. It was the second time that the Maroons had hosted the Yellow Jackets this season, picking up a 1-0 win back in March. The game would go into the second half in a scoreless tie. Roanoke scored the first goal of the afternoon midway into the third quarter and the defense did the rest as RC advanced with another 1-0 win over Randolph-Macon.

ODAC Field Hockey Tournament | Six Teams Ready for First Spring Tourney
The seasons may not quite be consecutive, but the University of Lynchburg stands atop the field for a third straight campaign as the conference's teams prepare to open the first ODAC Spring Field Hockey Tournament this week. Lynchburg's 7-0 league mark propelled them to the league's #1 rankings, while Washington and Lee University's 7-1 record earned the Generals the #2 seed. Both LYN and W&L received byes thru the quarterfinal round of competition. Those two games will be hosted by third-seeded Roanoke College and #4 Shenandoah University. Bridgewater College, thanks to its win over Virginia Wesleyan University on Sunday afternoon, will play as the fifth seed and travel to SU for its quarterfinal matchup.
