FOREST, Va. --- The eight-team field for the 2022 ODAC Women's Soccer Tournament is set following results from Saturday afternoon. Bridgewater College looks down upon the league table from the top perch, securing the #1 seed in the upcoming postseason event.
There was only one tie that needed sorting amongst the tournament qualifiers. That featured on the bottom of the bracket with Roanoke College and Shenandoah University sitting at 5-5 against league foes. The Maroons 2-0 win over the Hornets six days ago provided the determining factor in setting RC as the seventh seed and SU as the field-capping eighth team.
Shenandoah will travel south on I-81 for a showdown with Bridgewater in the quarterfinals. Roanoke will travel to second-seeded Washington and Lee University to open play in Lexington. Defending champion Virginia Wesleyan University locked up the third seed with a 4-0 victory over Roanoke on Saturday. The Marlins welcome sixth-seeded Guilford College to Virginia Beach in the quarterfinals.
The remaining quarterfinal matchup features fourth seeded University of Lynchburg as hosts to fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College.

Tournament play is slated to begin on Tuesday, November 1, with four quarterfinal games at seeds 1-4. The semifinals will be played on Friday, November 4, at the two highest seeds in standard bracket progression. The championship will be hosted by the highest remaining seed on Sunday, November 6.
