Randolph-Macon Completes Two-Game Run to ODAC Baseball Title
Fresh off a tight 8-7 victory over Bridgewater in the originally scheduled ODAC Baseball Tournament championship game on Monday, Randolph-Macon carried its momentum into the second contest, completing a two-game run to the 2013 conference title with a 6-2 victory over the Eagles in Salem, Va. The Yellow Jackets earn the conference’s automatic entry into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Baseball tournament will resume play in Salem, Va. today. Top-seeded Bridgewater College and fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College will face each other in game 10 at Lewis-Gale Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. Game time is set for 5:00pm.

ODAC Baseball Tournament Delayed Due To Weather
The 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Baseball tournament has been delayed due to weather. The scheduled 1:00pm start at Lynchburg City Stadium between top-seeded Bridgewater College and fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College today will now be played Monday, April 29 at Lewis-Gale Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium in Salem, Va. The game is tentatively scheduled for 5:00pm.

BC Remains Undefeated At ODAC Baseball Tournament With 6-2 Win Over R-MC
Bridgewater College is the lone undefeated team left at the ODAC Baseball tournament after the Eagles put away Randolph-Macon College, 6-2, Saturday in a battle of undefeated teams at Lynchburg's City Stadium.

H-SC Tops W&L, 6-5, in 11 Innings
Senior shortstop Beau Flinchum delivered the walk off RBI-single in the 11th inning to take a 6-5 win over fourth-seeded Washington and Lee and advance the second-seeded Tigers to game nine of the 2013 ODAC Baseball Tournament. The Tigers will have a rematch with fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon tonight at approximately 6:10 pm.

Randolph-Macon Baseball (20-16-1/10-9-1 ODAC) rallied in the ninth inning to defeat Hampden-Sydney 2-1 and stave off elimination in the 2013 ODAC Baseball Tournament Saturday night. The Yellow Jackets need two wins Sunday, April 28th against Bridgewater to claim the ODAC Title with the first game time set for 11:00 AM.

H-SC Advances in ODAC Tournament with 3-1 Win Over Roanoke
The second-seeded Hampden-Sydney baseball team rebounded in the 2013 ODAC Baseball Tournament with a 3-1 win over sixth-seeded Roanoke College. With the win, Hampden-Sydney (22-16-1, 13-7 ODAC) stands at 1-1 in the tournament and Roanoke (18-21, 10-10 ODAC) has been eliminated. The Tigers know they will play tomorrow at 2:30 pm but wait to see who their opponent will be based on the other games on Friday.

Bridgewater College scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday afternoon to defeat Shenandoah, 4-3, on the second day of the ODAC baseball tournament.

R-MC Baseball Defeats W&L, 5-1
Senior right hander Michael Helbig tossed nine innings of one run baseball as Randolph-Macon picked up a 5-1 victory over Washington and Lee in the ODAC Tournament Friday night. The Yellow Jackets will now face top seeded Bridgewater Saturday, April 27th at 11:00 am in a matchup of the final two unbeaten teams in the double elimination tournament.

BC’s Fulk, LC’s Henderlite Highlight ODAC Baseball Awards
Bridgewater outfielder Nick Fulk and Lynchburg righty Martin Henderlite highlight the 2013 ODAC Baseball All-Conference awards as the ODAC Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively. Eagles’ mentor Curt Kendall was tabbed the ODAC Coach of the Year, while Randolph-Macon designated hitter Mitchell Keeler earned ODAC Rookie of the Year laurels. Guilford outfielder John Macon Smith received the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Award.

Sophomore lefty Corey Armentrout pitched a complete-game five-hitter Thursday to lead the top-seeded Bridgewater College Eagles to a 3-1 victory over No. 6 Roanoke College in the first round of the ODAC baseball tournament at Lynchburg's City Stadium.

Randolph-Macon Baseball opened the 2013 ODAC Baseball Tournament with a 7-5 victory over second-seeded Hampden-Sydney Thursday afternoon. The fifth-seeded Yellow Jackets will now face the winner of game three between No. 4 Washington and Lee and No. 3 Shenandoah Friday, April 26th at 6:00.

W&L Tops SU, 7-4, in ODAC Baseball Tournament
The Washington and Lee baseball team used a four-run fourth inning to beat Shenandoah, 7-4, in its first game of the ODAC Tournament. The victory also marked the 400th career victory for head coach Jeff Stickley.

Bridgewater owns the top seed in the 2013 ODAC Baseball Tournament as the Eagles lost just one time in 20 conference games to put them in driver's seat as they look to build upon an ODAC record 13 titles on the diamond. Two tiebreakers were needed to sift out the six-team field that will compete in the double-elimination tourney at Lynchburg's historic City Stadium.
