Kim Edmonds, Randolph-Macon Woman's
College
Edmonds, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., won the
high point award at the Yellow Jacket Invitational for the second
straight year, posting 48 total points. She picked up three
individual event victories over the two-day affair, winning the
100-yard (1:08.57) and 200-yard breaststrokes (2:31.17) as well as
the 200-yard individual medley (2:17.75). Her time in the
100-yard breaststroke set a pool record at Randolph-Macon College,
the host of the invitational. On the season, Edmonds has
finished below first place in only one individual event in which
she has competed.

Hannah Hesser, Sweet Briar | Won both the 100-yard (1:04.84) and 200-yard butterfly events (2:25.04) as well as the 400-yard medley (4:38.7) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:35.47) in victory over King College |
Aimee Powell, Randolph-Macon | Helped lead RMC to the Yellow Jacket Invite title with 45 total points scored, good enough for second overall... she won the 400-yard IM (5:01.85), 500-yard free (5:38.23) and was a member of the winning 800-yard free relay team (8:26.08). |
