BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ray Sweeney, Washington & Lee
University
Sweeney, a senior from Kennett Square, Pa., helped
Washington & Lee to five victories this past week. The
Generals' shortstop knocked in eight runs over the week while
hitting .417 with a pair of homers, a double and six runs
scored. In a double-header against Mt. Aloysius, he went
3-for-7 with a homer and four runs batted in. He followed
that up with another dinger and four more RBI in a pair of
conference wins over Emory & Henry.
BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Clayton Edwards, Washington & Lee
University
Edwards, a senior from Atlanta, Ga., tossed a
complete-game shutout in a the second victory over Emory &
Henry. In a full seven innings, he allowed only four hits
while allowing three walks and striking out 11.

| Matt Nolen, Bridgewater | Pitched 10.1 total innings over the week... Went all seven to earn a win over Piedmont in which he shutout the Lions... He gave up only two hits while walking one an striking out six... Gave up three hits and two earned runs in a 3.1 innings against Shenandoah. |
| Adam Hall, Emory & Henry | Drove in 10 runs for the week... Went 3-for-6 against in a loss to W&L with a double, a grand slam and eight RBI... Drove in a pair in the first game against Virginia Intermont. |
| Joe John, Guilford | In an 0-4 week for the Quakers, John continued his torrid hitting with four multi-hit games... He hit for the cycle in the first game against Lynchburg while scoring three runs and driving in another... He has hit safely in all 12 of Guilford's games this season. |
| Josh Lane, Guilford | The righty didn't allow a run in 3.2 innings of relief work covering two appearances... Struck out a pair in his first inning on a collegiate mound against Averett... Threw 2.2 scoreless innings in a loss to Lynchburg. |
| Luke Swiney, Hampden-Sydney | Went 7-for-13 in a 1-2 week for the Tigers... Scored five runs and hit a pair of doubles. |
| Ozz Dhramapitaksoon, Va. Wesleyan | Recorded a 4-for-9 showing with two doubles and three RBI to help VWC to a sweep of HSC... Now hitting .385 on the season. |
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Burton Wood, Guilford College
Wood, a sophomore from Siler City, N.C., helped the
Quakers' to a second place finish at the Mid-Pines Invitational in
Southern Pines, N.C. Burton shot a one-under par 143 (67-76)
to win his first collegiate individual title. The only player
finishing under par, Wood's first round 67 tied for the event low
with teammate Colin Clark.
MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tyler Tolson, Lynchburg College
Tolson, a sophomore from Lutherville, Md., helped the
Hornets to a 17-8 victory over Ohio Wesleyan in Lynchburg's only
game of the week. He scored five times while assisting on
another for a season-high six points. He also picked up a
pair of ground balls.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelsi Robinson, Washington & Lee
University
Robinson, a sophomore from West Chester, Pa., helped
the Generals to a pair of ODAC victories last week. She
notched two goals with a pair of assists in a 11-4 win over
Roanoke. She added two draw controls and a pair of forced
turnovers. In a 13-7 victory over Randolph-Macon, she scored
three times and helped on another to go with four groundballs, two
more draw controls and just as many forced miscues.

| Deanna Welsch, Lynchburg | Helped the Hornets to a 2-0 week including a win over Guilford in which she scored five times... Added three goals and an assists in a win over Averett. |
| June Sellers, Sweet Briar | Scored five goals, won eight draw controls and forced a pair of turnovers in a 0-3 week for the Vixens. |
SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ashley Crouch, Randolph-Macon College
Crouch, a freshman from Chester, Va., hit .600 last
week to help Randolph-Macon to six victories through a trio of
double-headers. The Yellow Jackets' catcher recorded three
multi-hit games including a three-hit effort in which she doubled
and drove in a pair of runs in a win over Franklin &
Marshall. In the final game of the weekend, she went 2-for-3
with a two-bagger and four RBI to lead RMC over Shenandoah.
SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Lindsay Lam, Bridgewater College
Lam, a freshman from Stanardsville, Va., picked up a
victory against McDaniel College in her collegiate debut. She
went six innings for the win, striking out five while giving up
only two hits and one earned run.

| Jennifer Hall, Bridgewater | Went 3-for-7 in a 2-0 week for the Eagles, with all three hits clearing the fence... She hit a pair of solo shots in a 6-2 win over Piedmont and hit one and knocked in a pair of the other game against the Lions. |
| Meagan Chenault, Sweet Briar | Went 4-for-8 with three RBI and two stolen bases in two games for the Vixens... Went 3-for-4 in the second game against Peace with two runs scored, all three RBI and both larcenies. |
MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Caudill, Virginia Wesleyan College
Caudill, a senior from Virginia Beach, Va., went 3-0
at #1 singles to help the Marlins to a 5-1 season record. He
won 6-4, 6-1 at Salisbury, 6-3 and 7-5 at the University of the
District of Columbia, and 6-1, 6-1 at St. Mary's. An All-ODAC
first team selection at #1 doubles last season, Caudill is now 14-1
in his career at the top singles spot.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Imee Bautista, Virginia Wesleyan College
Bautista, a freshman from Virginia Beach, Va., won
7-6, 6-2 at Salisbury, 6-0, 6-0 at Trinity, D.C., and 6-0, 7-5 at
St. Mary's to account for a trio of #1 singles victories. She
also teamed with Megan Crook for a 3-0 week at #1 doubles
highlighted by an 8-6 win at Salisbury that helped give the Marlins
a 5-4 team victory.
