MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RICKY FLYNN, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Flynn, a sophomore from Gaithersburg, Maryland, placed seventh Saturday in 26:15 in the New York Invitational held in Van Courtland Park. There were 238 competitors on the five-mile course (8K). 

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll
Nathan Rittenhouse, Bridgewater Finished 15th at NYU with a time of 26:58.00.
Michael Welsh, Washington & Lee Placed 18th at the NYU Invite, crossing the line in 27:04.70.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
JENNIE PERNISI, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Pernisi, a freshman from Camden, New York, took fifth overall in the women's race Saturday at the New York University Invitational. She finished in 19:39 in the 209-runner competition, finishing behind only one Division III athlete. 

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll
Brittany Wells, Bridgewater Placed 32nd at the NYU Invite in a time of 21:08.00.
Kat Telfeyan, Washington & Lee Helped W&L to a 3rd place finish at JMU by placing 24th individually with a time of 21:15.20; was the top D-III finisher at the meet.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JESSI BOWMAN, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Bowman, a senior from Midlothian, Virginia, scored four goals Saturday against Villa Julie College in a 7-1 win, and followed with one tally Sunday against McDaniel in a 3-1 victory. The 17-ranked Hornets are 6-1 on the season, and Bowman has eight goals and two assists on the season for 18 points. 

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Kristina Landis, Eastern Mennonite Scored a goal and made a defensive save in the Royals' 2-1 loss to F&M.
Lindsey Paz, Roanoke Recorded 16 saves in a 3-1 win over VWC; helped shutout the Marlins on their 26 penalty corners.
Cat Cox, Sweet Briar Made 19 saves in the Vixens 4-1 loss to VWC.
Kendall Korte, Washington & Lee Scored two goals including the game winner in overtime in a 3-2 win over McDaniel

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
ZACHARY WEHRMAN, RANDOLPH-MACON COLLEGE
Wehrman, a freshman from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, participated in his first collegiate event this past weekend, taking individual medalist honors at the Ted Keller Invitational hosted by R-MC.  Wehrman shot a 74-70 for a two round even-par total of 144 to take the top prize.  He played as an individual in the event and did not factor into Randolph-Macon's fourth place team score. 

Golf Honor Roll
Bob Boykin, Hampden-Sydney Helped the Tigers to the team title at the Ted Keller Invite with a 149 total, good enough for 6th individually; also placed fourth at the Poplar Hill intercollegiate the week before.
Nathaniel James, Washington & Lee Shot a 1-over par 145 to place second individually and help W&L finish third as a team at the Ted Keller Invite.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SCOTT MEGUID, GUILFORD COLLEGE
Meguid, a junior from Durham, North Carolina, tallied three goals in the Quakers' 1-1 week.  He scored both goals in Guilford's 3-2 setback to Methodist, the region's seventh-ranked team.  The contest marked the fourth time he has scored a career-high two goals.  Meguid also netted the game-tying goal in the Quakers' come-from-behind 3-2 win over Bridgewater in Guilford's first ODAC game of the year.  Meguid is now second on the team with four goals and three assists for 11 points.

Will Robertson, Hampden-Sydney Scored a goal and notched an assist in a 3-1 win over Catholic.
Rolf Piranian, HC, Washington & Lee Recorded his 250th career victory in a 2-0 win over EMU.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNE VAN DEVENDER, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Van Devender, a junior from Jackson, Mississippi, helped lead the Generals to a 3-0 week. She tallied two goals and an assist against Randolph and then followed up with another score and a helper in win over R-MC. Registered the game-tying goal against Greensboro on Sunday.  She now has 36 goals in a little more than two seasons of play, good enough for fifth on the W&L all-time list.  She also has 86 career points which stands sixth in the program's history. 

Women's Soccer Honor Roll
Abigale Diffenbach,Eastern Mennonite Made 15 saves and allowed only two goals in a 1-1-1 week for the Royals.
Betsy Kwiatkowski, Lynchburg Scored four goals and notched an assist in the Hornets 10-0 win over Bridgewater; set school record with nine points in a game.
Victoria Johnson, Randolph Made 32 saves in a 1-1 week for the WildCats including 20 stops in a loss to W&L.
Margaret Houston, Roanoke Scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Randolph-Macon and notched another in a 2-0 victory at EMU.
Hellen Phillips, Sweet Briar Scored once and assisted on another goal in a 3-1 win over Mary Baldwin.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MARSHA HERMES, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Hermes, a senior from Warrenton, Virginia, led the Eagles to a 2-1 record on the week, including ODAC victories over W&L and Roanoke. Hermes led the Eagles in kills in each match with 28 against Roanoke and 17 against both W&L and Gallaudet. She averaged 5.0 kills per game during the week. In addition to her 17 kills she added five blocks against W&L as the Eagles won the match to snap W&L's 62-match ODAC regular season winning streak. 

Volleyball Honor Roll
Katie Warlick, Lynchburg Posted 16 kills and 12 digs in the Hornets five-game loss to VWC.
Laurilyn Kersten, Randolph Totaled 21 kills to go with 12 blocks and a .300 attack percentage in a 2-0 week for the WildCats.
Michelle Lindsey, Randolph-Macon In 4-0 week in which the Jackets didn't lose a game, Lindsey recorded 23 kills to go with 40 digs, five blocks and five aces.
Torri Bridge, Roanoke Handed out 99 assists through three matches for the Maroons.
Lauren Foster, Sweet Briar Handed out 50 assists and collected 19 digs through seven games in an 0-2 week for the Vixens.
