MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
JONATHAN SEIDEL, EMORY & HENRY COLLEGE
Seidel, a senior from Roanoke, Virginia, won the Roanoke Invitational this past weekend with a time of 27:37.00 in the 8k race held at Mowles Spring Park in Salem. Seidel improved his best 8k time by over two minutes. 

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll
Jeremy Wang, Guilford Placed 13th and earned first team all-state honors with an 8-K time of 30-21.80 at the Old North State Championships (N.C.).

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
MALLORY McCLAINE, ROANOKE COLLEGE
McClaine, a sophomore from Williamsburg, Virginia, helped Roanoke to the overall team title at the Maroon Invitational by winning the individual crown in a 21:14.36 over the five-kilometer track.  That time also marks the sixth-fastest 5K showing in the ODAC this season.  

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll
Kelsey Weibe, Eastern Mennonite Ran the fastest EMU 5K of the season at the Maroon Invitational with a time of 22:38.14, good enough for 8th place.
Grace Normann, Guilford Ran a 27:36.20 six-kilometer time at the Old North State Championships (N.C.) to earn first team all-state honors.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LINDA CIMINI, EASTERN MENNONITE UNIVERSITY
Cimini, a freshman from Cape May, New Jersey, leads the team with four goals with two of them coming against #18 Lynchburg College as the Lady Royals defeated the Hornets 2-1 Friday night in Lynchburg, Va.  After Lynchburg went ahead early in the first half, Cimini evened the score with an unassisted effort in the 42nd minute and then put the Royals ahead just 5:06 later off a pass from Alyssa Derstine.  The win for the Royals marked the first loss for Lynchburg in regular season ODAC play since 3-1 setback against Washington & Lee on September 21, 2005, a span of 15 games. 

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Samantha Howard, Lynchburg Scored the goal in a 2-1 loss to EMU and added another in a 2-0 win over St. Marys.
Ashley Crouch, Randolph-Macon Made 28 saves in two games last week including 20 stops in a 3-0 loss to Frostburg State.
Cat Cox, Sweet Briar Made 21 saves in two contests for SBC, giving her 40 stops over the past two weeks.
Tara Rubenstein, Washington & Lee Made 20 saves against 40 total shots in a 1-0 double-overtime loss to #8 Johns Hopkins.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
SHAWN HARPER, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Harper, a senior from Verona, Virginia, shot a 3-under par 141 to claim medalist honors and lead the Bridgewater College Eagles to the team title at the Tom Kinder Memorial golf tournament hosted by the Eagles at Lakeview Golf Course. Harper shot a two-under 70 on the first day to lead the Eagles to a school record score of 288. He then shot a 71 in Day 2 to edge teammate Colten Ray by one shot for medalist honors.

Golf Honor Roll
Peter Latimer, Guilford Shot a 1-under-par 215 (70-74-71) to place 24th individually and the predominantly D-I Sea Trail Intercollegiate.
Michael Butzgy, Lynchburg Carded a 1-over-par 145 (71-74) to place fifth at the Tom Kinder Memorial.
Ralston King, Randolph-Macon Posted an even-par 144 (71-73) to finish third at the Tom Kinder Memorial.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOHN ROBERT PLYLER, HAMPDEN-SYDNEY COLLEGE
Plyler, a freshman from Charlotte, North Carolina, recorded his first collegiate shutout in the Tigers' 1-0 win over ODAC-rival Randolph-Macon on Wednesday, then followed up that performance by tallying six saves in Hampden-Sydney's 3-1 victory over Piedmont, who features the top goal scorer in the country in Drew Griffin (14 goals). Overall, Plyler and the Tigers are 3-0 since his moving into the starting lineup. Plyler stands at 3-0 himself on the season, and he has allowed just two goals in his three starts, leading the Tigers on their three game winning streak. 

Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Jared Byler, Eastern Mennonite Scored once in a 2-1 win over Bridgewater and tallied the lone Royal marker in a 3-1 loss to Roanoke.
Beau Arcenaux, Guilford Made eight saves in a loss to Washington & Lee, the only game of the week for the Quakers.
Marcus Jordan, Lynchburg Made six saves in a 0-0 double-overtime draw with Washington & Lee; surrendered only one goal and made two saves in a 1-0 loss to #7 York.
Kevan Quinn, Randolph-Macon Scored in the 91st minute to defeat Emory & Henry 1-0 in the Jackets only contest of the week.
Michael Rouhana, Roanoke Scored twice and added an assist in a 6-1 win over Emory & Henry; added an assist in a 3-1 win over Eastern Mennonite.
Josh Dodds, Washington & Lee After being held scoreless in a 0-0 tie with Lynchburg, Dodds scored three times in a 5-0 win over Guilford.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KATELYN CARSWELL, EMORY & HENRY COLLEGE
Carswell, a junior from Bristol, Tennessee, scored five of the Wasps eight goals and recorded two assists as well. E&H was 2-1 on the week and 2-0 in games Carswell played in. The Wasps defeated Peace 5-0 and Sweet Briar 3-1.  Carswell scored three goals and added an assist against Peace, and after missing the game against W.Va. Tech, she notched two more goals and another helper versus Sweet Briar.  Carswell has nine goals and eight assists on the year in eight games played. 

Women's Soccer Honor Roll
Mickie Boulineau, Guilford Helped GC end a seven-game losing skid with a goal in a 3-1 win over Bridgewater.
Betsy Kwiatkowski, Lynchburg Scored once in a 3-0 win over Eastern Mennonite and added three more with an assist in an 11-0 win over Hollins.
Victoria Johnson, Randolph Recorded 26 saves in two games including 23 in a loss to Virginia Wesleyan.
Mary Jocelyn, Randolph-Macon Made seven saves in recording a 2-0 shutout over Bridgewater.
Tami Alcalde, Roanoke Scored twice in a 5-0 win versus Sweet Briar.
Anne Van Devender, Wash. & Lee Notched a pair of goals and an assist increase her career point total to 93; she also moved into third place on the W&L charts with 38 career goals.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ERIKA DIRNAGL, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Dirnagl, a sophomore from Stephens City, Virginia, hit for a .409 percentage during the past week to help lead the Eagles to a 6-0 record and improve to 13-1 on the season. She averaged 2.6 kills per game and 1.2 blocks per game during the week. The Eagles won five matches to win the BC Invitational. Dirnagl had 13 kills and seven blocks in a victory over Roanoke and nine kills and seven blocks in the championship match victory over Southern Virginia.  She finished the week with 55 kills and only 12 errors in 105 attacks while also picking up 25 total blocks and 18 aces.  She was named to the all-tournament team at the BC Invitational. 

Volleyball Honor Roll
Haley Ortmann, Guilford Helped GC to a 2-1 week with 56 kills and a .250 hitting percentage to go with 30 digs and nine aces.
April Hines, Randolph-Macon Helped the Jackets to a 3-0 win over Chowan in their only match with eight kills in an errorless 18 attacks (.444%) to go with two aces and a pair of blocks.
Jess Hudock, Washington & Lee Recorded 43 kills and 44 digs to go with 10 aces in a 3-2 week for the Generals; also named to the all-tournament team at Emory.
