BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Terrence McKelvey, Washington and Lee University
McKelvey, a junior from East Islip, New York, posted a 1.438 slugging percentage over the weekend.  He racked up nine hits, including two doubles, three triples and two homeruns as the Generals swept both E&H and Southern Vermont.  He missed the cycle by a single in a 18-0 win over the Wasps, as he registered three hits in five at-bats with a double, a triple, a homerun and one RBI.  For the week, he batted .563 (9-for-16).

BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Nolan Shaffer, Bridgewater College
Shaffer, a senior from Hegins, Pennsylvania, pitched a complete game four-hitter to lead the Eagles to a 4-1 victory over Messiah. Shaffer allowed four hits and no earned runs in seven innings. He struck out six and did not walk a batter 

Baseball Honor Roll
Mitchell Edwards, Bridgewater Went 5-for-13 with a double, two homers and six RBI in a 3-1 week for the Eagles.
Brad Buchman, Guilford Batted .500 with a double, two homers, four runs scored and six RBI in three games for the Quakers.
Paul Keenan, Guilford Tossed three innings of hitless relief with five strikeouts to earn a win over Methodist.
Greg Meleski, Randolph-Macon Went 4-for-7 with four RBI in a double-header split with SUNY-New Paltz.

MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Peter Latimer, Guilford College
Latimer, a sophomore from Markinch, Scotland, earns the ODAC's top golfer honor for the second straight week.  He was the individual medalist winner at last week's Pine Needles Intercollegiate, posting a 1-over total of 143 (71-72).  He bested teammate Burton Wood by two strokes to help the Quakers come in second overall at the tournament. 

MEN'S LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Garrett Curran, Lynchburg College
Curran, a senior from Hull, Massachusetts, posted 17 saves and allowed just five goals to Ohio Wesleyan University. He recorded 10 saves in the decisive second-half in which Lynchburg held the Battling Bishops scoreless and outscored them 6-0. 

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Joe Dauksis, Guilford Scored four times and picked up two ground balls in a pair of losses for Guilford last week.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Nichole Locher, Lynchburg College
Locher, a senior from Yorktown Heights, New York, scored seven goals and tallied five assists in two wins for the Hornets last week. On Tuesday at Shenandoah, Locher tied the school record for assists in a game with four and she scored three goals.  On Saturday against Methodist, she tallied four goals and one assist. 

Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Lindsay Snyder, Bridgewater Scored five goals and added an assist in an 18-2 win over Hood.
Mary Hutchins, Guilford Became Guilford's all-time scoring leader with one goals and five assists in a 18-16 loss to Goucher; now has 175 career points on 106 goals and 69 assists.
Erin Clare, Randolph-Macon Scored three goals and had an assists in a 10-9 loss to Villa Julie.
Stewart Hulfish, Sweet Briar Scored four goals, notched an assist and picked up six ground balls in a loss to Virginia Wesleyan
Christine Bender, Washington & Lee Recorded a hat-trick in a 13-6 win over Christopher Newport

SOFTBALL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Perkins,  Lynchburg College
Perkins, a senior from Kents Store, Virgnia, picks up her second straight honor.  She hit .643 last week as the Hornets posted six wins to remain unbeaten at 12-0. She blasted two home runs, a double and a triple and drove in nine RBI in the six games at Virginia Beach. She posted a 1.357 slugging percentage  - and was walked seven times for a .761 on-base percentage.

SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Barbie Miles,  Lynchburg College
Miles, a sophomore from Kinsale, Virginia, worked 18 innings last week to post three victories and help LC remain undefeated. She allowed just six hits, while striking out eight to have a 0.39 ERA. On Sunday she threw a complete-game two-hit shutout against regional powerhouse Salisbury University in a 1-0 hornet win. 

Softball Honor Roll
Becky Schmidt, Bridgewater Picked up a pair of complete game victories, giving up five runs (two earned) and 11 hits in 14 innings.  She struck out seven batters.
Paige Smith, Randolph-Macon Collected five hits last week, four of which cleared the fences for homeruns; also had 10 RBI and scored five runs.
Courtney Brooks, Randolph-Macon Picked up a pair of wins last week in eight innings of work; fanned 12 batters while surrendering 10 hits and four runs (two earned).
Amey Landreth, Sweet Briar Went 4-for-7 with a double, RBI and run scored in a double-header with Chowan.
Megan Franklin, Sweet Briar Pitched a complete game 7-hitter in the loss to Chowan; fanned seven batters.

MEN'S TENNIS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Tim Ross, Washington and Lee University
Ross, a senior from Malvern, Pennsylvania, helped lead the Generals to a 2-0 week by going 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles.  He notched a 6-0, 6-3 singles win over Devin Crosby of Virginia Wesleyan and teamed with Jamie McCardell to post an 8-3 win over VWC's Tim Sanford and Crosby at No. 1 doubles.  He then posted a 6-2, 6-1 win over Emory & Henry's Dan Mansmann and teamed with Stuart Sanford to defeat Mansmann and Ben Blevins at No. 1 doubles.  For the season, Ross is 4-1 in singles and 2-3 in doubles.

Patrick Childs, Guilford Went 2-1 at #6 singles and 3-0 at #3 doubles to help Guilford to one match victory in three contests last week.

WOMEN'S TENNIS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Katie Tabb, Washington and Lee University
Tabb, a junior from Minneapolis, Minnesota, posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Bridgewater's Hilary Teeter at No. 1 singles and teamed with Lauren Caire for an 8-4 win over Jessica Hill and Marlena Pipkin at No. 1 doubles.  Also had a 6-0, 6-0 win over VWC's Imee Bautista and teamed with Leah Weston for an 8-0 win over Bautista and Megan Crook at No. 1 doubles.  For the season, Tabb is 11-1 in singles and 6-2 in doubles.

Krystal Parrish, Guilford Picked up a pair of straight-set wins at #2 singles and two more victories in doubles action to help the Quakers win their first two matches of the season.
Martha Vlahakis, Randolp-Macon Helped R-MC to a 7-2 win over St. Mary's with victories at #2 singles and doubles.
Virginia Edahl, Sweet Briar Help SBC to a 9-0 win over Averett with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #1 singles and an 8-0 triumph at #1 doubles.
