MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RICKY FLYNN, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Flynn, a junior from Gaithersburg, Maryland, finished third overall at the Pre-NCAA South/Southeast Region meet, as he helped LC to a third place finish, topping all other D-III teams entered. Flynn ran his best time of the season Saturday, placing third individually with an eight-kilometer time of 25:50.00, the top 8K time in the ODAC this season.

*Men's Cross Country Honor Roll*
Brandon Spalding, BC	Placed second overall and helped the Eagles to a first place showing at the Hagan Stone Classic with an 8K time of 26:41.3.
Justin Hochstetler, EMU	Led the Royals at the Virginia State Meet with an 8K time of 30:34.0, good enough for 7th individually.
Palmer Hicks, GC	Led Guilford at the Hagan Stone Classic with an 8K time of 29:56.8.
Ian Robinson, RC	Was the top D-III finisher at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational (N.C.), finishing fourth with an 8K time of 26:50.0.
Robert Aaron, VWC	Paced the Marlins at the Norfolk State Invitational with an 8K time of 27:09.14, his best time this season by 12 seconds; the mark was good for fourth overall.
Michael Welsh, W&L	Placed 34th out of 230 runners at the Pre-Nationals race in Hanover, Indiana, with an 8K time of 26:37.86; it marked his season-best time and just 28 seconds short of a new career standard.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
ASHLEY MEYER, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Meyer, a junior from Springfield, Missouri, was the top LC finisher at the 35^th annual Paul Short Invite, as the Hornets finished 14^th out of 37 teams at the prestigious meet in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Meyer posted her career-best time and top LC women's time of the season, running a 23:22 over the six-kilometer course. Her mark places her with the fifth fastest 6K time this year in the ODAC.

Katie Lee, BC	Led the Eagles to a third place finish at the Hagan Stone Classic with a 5K time of 22:07.9
Kelsey Wiebe, EMU	Had the strongest showing for an EMU runner since 2006 by finishing second at the Va. State Meet with a 6K time of 26:35.
Grace Normann, GC	Continue her streak of Guilford best times with her fifth straight pacing of the Quakers at the Hagan Stone Classic; posted a 5K time of 21:55.2.
Jennifer Doughman, RC	Led the Maroons for the first time this season, finishing 10th at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational with a 5K time of 20:15.
Ashley Roane, VWC	Became the first VWC runner to post a 5K time under 20 minutes with a fifth place mark of 19:41.36 at the Norfolk State Invitational.
Kathryn Iwata, W&L	Placed first out of 31 runners and led the Generals to the team title at the Va. State Meet with a 6K time of 26:09.79.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALLIE WEIR, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Weir, a junior from Richmond, Virginia, added onto her team best totals of points and goals, now currently posting 18 goals and 37 points. She scored seven goals over the week, including her 11^th hat-trick and fifth four-goal game of her career against Shenandoah, also leading the Hornets to two other victories. She has now scored in 44 of her 57 career games played at LC, and has scored in all but two Hornet games this season.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
BURTON WOOD, GUILFORD COLLEGE
Wood, a senior from Siler City, North Carolina, placed sixth among 87 competitors at the Greensboro College Invitational, first among ODAC contestants. He shot 71-74-145 for a one-over-par score over 36 holes. Wood helped Guilford place third among 16 teams.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BRANDON MASSIE, VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE
Massie, a junior from Chesapeake, earns his second straight men's soccer Player of the Week award. Massie scored four goals to help VWC to a 2-0 week in ODAC competition with a 6-1 win over Randolph College and a 2-0 victory over regionally-ranked Eastern Mennonite University. He scored the fourth and fifth goals against Randolph and both goals against EMU, both in the second half. He now leads VWC with 10 goals scored.

*Men's Soccer Honor Roll*
Sam Huff, GC	Defender notched the first goal of his career in a 4-3 win at Bridgewater on Saturday; also contributed a strong right-back performance in a 0-0 tie against regionally-ranked Lynchburg.
Matt Sturdivant, LC	Was in net for a pair of shutout ties over the past week, recording 14 total saves in scoreless draws with Guilford and Hampden-Sydney; made eight stops versus Guilford.
Timothy Songer, RAND	Scored two goals, including the game-winner, a 3-2 win over Emory & Henry last week.
Tommy Pignatelli, W&L	Notched six points over the past week including the game-winner and an assist in a win over Emory & Henry and another goal with one more helper in a 4-0 shutout of Randolph-Macon.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PAGE MINTON, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Minton, a freshman from Bowling Green, Kentucky, scored twice and added two assists in a 5-0 win over Sweet Briar. The defender followed that up with a strong showing for the Generals' defense by shutting out Randolph-Macon and holding the Yellow Jackets without a shot. The points marked the first six of Minton's career.

*Women's Soccer Honor Roll*
Katie Lamm, EMU	Scored both Royal goals in a 2-1 ODAC win over Emory & Henry; is ranked in the top five in both goals and points in the ODAC.
Amber Stapler, GC	Recorded two shutouts wins for the Quakers by making 11 combined saves in victories over Greensboro and Bridgewater; made seven stops in a 1-0 win vs. the Pride.
Joanie Snyder, LC	Notched a hat-trick and assisted on another goal in the Hornets 9-0 win over Hollins.
Victoria Johnson, RAND	Helped lead the WildCats to a pair wins by making 18 total saves over three games, including two shutouts; she made seven stops in a 4-0 whitewashing of Gallaudet.
Courtney Whorten, VWC	Scored twice in a 3-0 win over Roanoke; she opened the scoring in the first half and put the Marlins up 2-0 in the second half.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JESSICA ULRICH, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Ulrich, a senior from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, notched 44 kills and 40 digs in leading W&L to a 4-0 week. She also had four aces and four blocks. She recorded season highs in kills and digs with 15 and 16, respectively, in a 3-1 win over Emory & Henry on Wednesday. She also added three service aces in the win over the Wasps. Ulrich hit .688 with 11 kills in 3-0 win over Mary Baldwin on Saturday, finishing the week with a .402 overall attack percentage.

*Volleyball Honor Roll*
Katie Baker, BC	Had eight kills and three blocks in a win over Lynchburg, the only match of the week for the Eagles.
Samantha Shephard, E&H	Collected 17 blocks over 12 games for the Wasps, including nine against W&L and seven versus Piedmont; also collected 34 kills on the week.
Anna Miller, GC	Registered 34 kills and 25 digs in three matches for the Quakers; had a pair of 12 kill performances, and added 21 digs against Salem.
Maggie Horn, RMC	Had 16 kills to go with 22 digs and five blocks in a pair of match wins for the Jackets; went for 11 kills, 15 digs and three blocks in a 5-game win over VWC.
Ashley Winters, SBC	Led the Vixens with 12 kills, 20 digs and three blocks in a 3-1 win over Guilford.
Marissa Wood, VWC	Notched three matches of 40-plus assists, improving her streak to five matches with at least as many assists; had 124 assists for the week, also adding 37 digs and eight service aces.
