MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
MICHAEL WELSH, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Welsh, a senior from Tullahoma, Tennessee, set a new personal and ODAC seasonal best time in eight kilometer runs at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.  His time of 25:46.00 helped lead the W&L Men's Cross Country team to a 16th-place finish out of 30 teams by crossing the finish line in 41st-place.

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll
Nathan Rittenhouse, BC Placed fifth at the Gettysburg Invitational with an 8K time of 25:54.7; finished 21 seconds behind the winner.
Palmer Hicks, GC Ran Guilford's fastest time over a 5K course at the Wingate Pre-Conference Invitational with a time of 18:12.00.
Ryan Van Alstine, LC Place 20th and helped the Hornets to a 7th place finish at the Gettysburg Invitational with an 8K time of 26:27.00.
Sean Whitson, VWC Completed the 8K course at the William & Mary Tribe Open in 27:31.00, his best time this season by 23 seconds.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
JESSICA SHAW, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Shaw, a senior from Dallas, Texas, earns her third ODAC Runner of the Week award of the season.  She set a new ODAC seasonal best time in six kilometer runs with a time of 22:14.00, placing 13th at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.  Her time helped the Generals to a ninth place finish out of 27 teams.

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll
Daryn Lane, GC Ran Guilford's fastest time at the Wingate Pre-Conference Invitational with a 5K time of 24:35.00.
Lindsay Fender, LC Paced Lynchburg at the Gettysburg Invitational with a 38th place time of 24:15.00 over the 6K course.
Ashley Roane, VWC Placed ninth at the William & Mary Tribe Open with a 6K time of 25:01, the ninth fastest time in VWC history; owns eight of top 11 VWC best times in 6K runs.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALLIE WEIR, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Weir, a junior from Richmond, Virginia, added onto her team best totals in points and goals, now currently posting 28 goals and 58 points.  She scored six of Lynchburg's seven goals this week, including her 12th career hat-trick and sixth four-goal game of her career against Randolph-Macon.  Weir has now scored in 49 of her 62 career games played at LC, good for an 80-percent clip, and has scored in all but two Hornet games this season. Weir moved into second place at LC for goals in a career with 93.  That total also moves her into third place on the ODAC all-time goals scored list, just 13 goals short of tying for Hornet Phebe Phelps (1981-84) for the top spot.

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Allison Byler, EMU Scored four goals in an 8-0 away win over Sweet Briar, the only game of the week for the Royals; now has eight goals and 16 points on the season.
Lindsay Walker, R-MC Scored a goal in each of Randolph-Macon's games this past week, giving her four goals and nine points on the season.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
RALSTON KING, RANDOLPH-MACON COLLEGE
King, a senior from Richmond, Virginia, captured the title at the Virginia Collegiate Championship at the Hanover Country Club in Ashland, Virginia.  King carded a two over, 71-73-144 to win individual honors by eight strokes over Bridgewater's Mike Redwood.  The Yellow Jackets finished third as a team. 

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Mike Redwood, BC Carded a 76-76--152 at the Va. Collegiate Championship, leading Bridgewater to the team title.
Dusty Roberts, GC Was the Quakers' top finisher at the Duke Coca-Cola Classic, tying for 20th among 63 competitors with a 73-75-77--225.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANDREW PARHAM, RANDOLPH-MACON COLLEGE
Parham, a sophomore from Glen Allen, Virginia, helped the Yellow Jackets to an important ODAC win over Emory & Henry.  Parham scored the first two goals of the game, heading one home off a corner, to propel Randolph-Macon past E&H, 3-0.  The win moved R-MC into a four-way tie for fifth in the ODAC at 3-3-1 with three games each left to play in the conference season. 

Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Chris Thomas, BC Continued his strong season with a goal in a loss to VWC and two assists in a 2-1 win over Randolph.
Ethan Byrd, GC Helped Guilford into a tie for fifth in the ODAC with his double-overtime goal to defeat EMU, 1-0; scored marked his first career goal.
Matt Sturdivant, LC In two wins for the Hornets, made 10 saves in net including six in a 4-1 win over Methodist; made four stops in a 3-0 win over VWC, his fifth shutout of the season.
Adam Thompson, RC Was in net for a pair of shutouts last week; made four saves in a 2-0 win over Randolph, and was in net without a save in a 2-0 win over Hampden-Sydney; now has eight shutouts on the season, among the top 10 at Roanoke all-time.
Whit Larkin, W&L Scored once and had two assists in a 3-0 win over Ferrum.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JACKIE D'ORSANEO, GUILFORD COLLEGE
D'Orsaneo, a sophomore from Bowie, Maryland, helped Guilford to a 2-1 record last week with five goals and four assists across the three contests.  She scored a game- and career-high eight points on three goals and two assists in the Quakers' win over Randolph College.  The eight points marked Guilford's highest single-game scoring output since 2003.  She had two goals and an assist in a win at Sweet Briar, her team-leading second multi-goal match.  D'Orsaneo added an assist on Guilford's goal versus Va. Wesleyan, the first scored versus the Marlins in eight matches.  D'Orsaneo now has eight goals and six assists on the season, tops in both categories for the Quakers. 

Women's Soccer Honor Roll
Ashley Hoath, LC Notched four goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for Lynchburg; scored three times and assisted on another in a 9-0 win over Emory & Henry.
Megan Calabrese, R-MC Scored twice and assisted on a third goal in the Jackets 4-1 win over Randolph.
Meredith Grunewald, RC Had three goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for Roanoke; scored the game-winner in overtime to defeat Eastern Mennonite, 1-0.
Jerilyn Sweeney, VWC Scored three times in a 3-0 week for the Marlins; had two goals in a 6-0 win over Emory & Henry and added another in the win over Guilford.
Kat Barnes, W&L Notched her first career hat-trick and assisted on another goal in a 5-2 win over Mary Washington.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KENDRA SMITH, RANDOLPH-MACON COLLEGE
Smith, a senior from Midlothian, Virginia, picks up her second ODAC weekly award of the season.  Smith helped R-MC to a 4-0 week, including a pair of wins over ODAC foes Bridgewater and Guilford. Smith racked up 36 kills offensively and only made six attacking errors in 64 chances. On the defensive side of the net, Smith recorded a total of 22 blocks on the week and had four digs.  Against Bridgewater, she recorded her second double-digit blocks match of the season with 10 blocks. 

Volleyball Honor Roll
Katie Baker, BC Had 26 kills and hit .386 with nine blocks and six aces in a 2-1 week for the Eagles.
Rachel Fertitta, E&H In the Wasps' only match of the week, had 13 kills to go with five blocks in a win over Mary Baldwin.
Courtney Kozar, GC Collected 27 kills to go with 29 digs in a three-match week for the Quakers.
Savannah Tinsley, LC In a week in which she shifted from libero to setter, Tinsley collected 54 assists to go with 59 digs; had 27 digs in a 3-1 win over Randolph.
Maggie Wagner, RC Continued her strong first season in Salem with 24 kills and 32 digs over a 3-0 week for the Maroons.
Marissa Wood, VWC In a 2-2 week for the Marlins, collected 148 assists, 10 aces and 25 digs; set a VWC sophomore record with 50 assists in a 3-2 loss to W&L.
Jessica Ulrich, W&L Finished a 3-0 week for the Generals with 29 kills to go with 22 digs and seven aces; hit .355 for the week.
