Celebrating Achievement | Indoor Track & Field NCAA Qualifiers

FOREST, Va. --- Eleven of the ODAC's best track & field stars were set to compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships following banner regular season performances that included a stellar conference championship. Those 11 standouts, however, did not get the opportunity to compete on the national level with the current climate forcing the cancellation of all NCAA winter championships and spring sports.

The event was slated for Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. The ODAC's own Guilford College was slated to serve as a co-host of the two-day affair with more than 500 student-athletes slated to compete.

The ODAC was to be represented by five different schools. Bridgewater College led the way with five competitors including Calista Ariel, Felicia Clements, and English Jackson in the women's championship and Michael Lotts and Davonta Womack on the men's ledger. The University of Lynchburg flag would have been carried by LaMaya Lacy and Alex Shadkhoo, while Virginia Wesleyan University colors would have been donned by Jaylyn Lane and Geni Roberts. Elijah Morton was set to represent Shenandoah University, while Joe O'Connor would have worn the blue and white of Washington and Lee University.

The graphics below describe the details for each athlete in their respective event(s) should the championship had occurred.
