MEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Geni Roberts | Virginia Wesleyan | Jr.
Roberts, a junior from Ridgely, Md., continues to perform at a high national-caliber level following a stellar showing at the Richard Drake Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University. Roberts improved upon is already top ODAC in the triple jump, this time leaping out to 14.63 meters (48-0.00) to win the event and set a new Marlins record. That mark ranks ninth in NCAA Division III and is the best in the ODAC by nearly a meter. Roberts also won the long jump with a distance of 7.19 meters (23-7.25). While not quite his 7.26-meter ODAC-best jump from earlier this season, Roberts' jump this weekend is still better than any other conference competitor this year.
