Janse, a sophomore from Wellington, New Zealand, finished third overall at UNC-Chapel Hill Gene Anderson Invitational in the 800-meter run.  He was the only DIII competitor in the fast section of the event.  Running in sixth place with a 100 meters to go, Janse moved up to third in the final 50 meters to run a 1:55.89.  His time currently leads the ODAC by over four seconds and was one second off the school record.

Men's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Ricky Flynn, Lynchburg College, Senior - Distance
Flynn provisionally qualified for NCAA competition Saturday with a time of 14:43.95 in the 5,000 meters. He took eighth place of 94 runners in the largely Division I field.
