Thompson, a sophomore from Chatham, Va., won two individual events and was part of a first place relay as Washington and Lee competed to a 67-67 tie with Roanoke College in a dual meet setting.  Thompson won the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.59 seconds.  She added a victory in the long jump with a leap of 5.01 meters (16'5.25"), equaling her mark from the Generals' first meet of the season prior to the holidays.  Thompson was also a member of the W&L 4x400-meter relay that topped Roanoke with a time of 4:34.08.
