Zander Tallman, Washington and Lee, Sophomore

Tallman, sophomore from Grand Blanc, Mich., picks up his second ODAC weekly honor of the early indoor track season.  Tallman put together a championship-caliber performance at the Marietta Open (Ohio) this past weekend as he won a pair of individual events and helped the Generals to a relay victory.  Tallman won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.78 seconds, and then followed that with a 50.05 showing to claim top prize in the 400-meter dash.  That time currently ranks third in all of NCAA Division III.  Tallman also ran a leg on the Generals' 4x400-meter relay team, which won the event in 3:30.86.

Johnathan Smith, Guilford, Sophomore
Smith placed fifth in the 60-meter dash at the Dick Taylor Invitational, tops among Division III contestants.  He set the school record with a 6.96 time in qualifying, which also ranks as the third-best mark in NCAA Division III this season.  Smith took 13th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.13, the third-fastest time in school history and the best Division III time in the race.
