Tom Sippie, Lynchburg, Freshman

Sippie, a freshman from Toms River, N.J., put together a pair of solid performances at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games at The Armory in New York City.  Sippie record a pair of ODAC season-best times while placing in the top-five amongst NCAA Division III competition.  In the 200-meter dash, he posted a time of 22.95 seconds to finish 10th overall and third amongst D-III runners. He followed that with a time of 50.70 seconds in the 400-meter dash, placing sixth overall and second versus D-III competitors.

Pete Monteleone, Bridgewater College - (Freshman, Sprints, Jumps - Shenandoah, Va)
At the Ursinus Open this past weekend in Collegeville, Pa., Monteleone was Bridgewater’s top finisher in the 200 meter dash. The freshman finished with a time of 23.42 seconds, which was good enough for ninth place in the event. In the 400 meter dash, he finished sixth with a 52.78-second performance.

Kyle Chowhan, Virginia Wesleyan College -

Chowhan placed first in the pole vault competition at the Ursinus Open by clearing a height of 4.40 meters (14' 5.25"). That broke the VWC record of 14' 3.25" set by Chowhan in 2011. It is also the top height to date among ODAC vaulters.
