A.J. Bernstein, Roanoke, Sr.

Bernstein, a senior from Germantown, Tenn., posted the ODAC's best time in the 800-meter run at the Liberty Open over the weekend.  Bernstein crossed the finish line in 1:58.93, besting all other NCAA Division III competitors and placing third overall in the multi-divisional race.

Men's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Sam Gunther, Bridgewater (So. - Chesterfield, Va.)
Gunther won the 500-meter run at the Liberty Open with a time of 1:06.58.  He also helped the Eagles in the 4x400-meter (3:31.45) and 4x800-meter (8:21.77) relays, placing third and first overall, respectively.

Alec Thibodeaux, Eastern Mennonite (Fr. - Staunton, Va.)
Thibodeaux placed fourth overall and second among D-III competitors in the 800-meter run at the Liberty Open.  He posted a time of 1:59.74, ranking fourth all-time at EMU.

Andris Goncarovs, Guilford (Jr. - Ithaca, N.Y.)
Goncarovs was the first D-III finisher and third overall in the mile run at the Winston-Salem State Open with a time of 4:32.78.  He also helped the Quakers to a first place showing in the distance medley with a time of 10:47.61, the second-fastest in school history.

Daniel Shannon, Lynchburg (So. - East Berlin, Pa.)
Shannon competed in the pole vault at the Liberty Open.  He placed seventh overall and first among D-III competitors by clearing 13-feet 9.25-inches, which currently tops the ODAC seasonal list.
