Dana Lee, Washington and Lee, Fr.

Lee, a freshman from Nashville, Tenn., put together a strong performance at the Marietta Open, which saw her set a pair of ODAC top marks.  She set the Washington and Lee record in the long, leaping to a first place distance of 5.63 meters (18' 5.75") to take over the top spot in the ODAC by nearly a foot.  Lee finished second in the 200-meter dash in 27.34 seconds, which tops the conference ranks by 0.02 seconds.  Lee completed her efforts for the meet with a third place showing in the triple jump with a mark of 10.38 meters (34' 0.75"), which is third in the ODAC so far this season.

Women's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Becca Benfield, Guilford (Fr. - Lawndale, N.C.)
Benfield threw the shot 9.02 meters (29' 7.25") at the Tar Heel Open, the second-longest toss in Guilford history.

Aleshia Washington, Lynchburg (Jr. - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Washington won the 55-meter dash in 7.50 seconds at the Marietta Open.  She also finished second in the long jump at 5.36 meters (17' 7.00"), the second-best mark in the ODAC this season.

Jessica Mejia, Roanoke (Jr. - Centerville, Va.)
Mejia set a personal-best in the 300-meter dash in 42.90 seconds to win the event at the Marietta Open.  She placed seventh in the 55-meter dash (7.73) and ran a leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay ream (4:06.85).

Jaclyn Mohlmann, Shenandoah (Jr. - Annandale, Va.)
Mohlmann set the SU record in the Pentathlon at the Captains Invitational & Combined Events, racking up 3,001 points.  She won the 800-meter race during the competition.

Shakira Mills, Virginia Wesleyan (So., - Hampton, Va.)
Mills was involved in two school record performances at the Captains Invitational & Combined Events.  She set the VWC record in the 60-meter dash (8.11), finishing 10th overall, and was a member of the Marlins' record-setting 4x200-meter relay team (1:50.69) that placed fourth.  Mills also ran the 200-meter dash in 28.06 to place 14th.
