Luke Sohl, Bridgewater, Jr.

Sohl, a junior from Burke, Va., broke a 21-year old conference record and smashed Bridgewater's record in the 3,000-meter run at the Hilton Garden Invitational on Saturday.  His time of 8:28.71 pushed his name above former Lynchburg College standout Gregg Cavaliere by 1.03 seconds as he took first place in the 44-man all-divisions race.  Sohl's time eclipsed the BC record held by Nathan Rittenhouse by nearly 20 seconds.  His time is currently ranked ninth in NCAA Division III.

Men's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Jacob Landis, Eastern Mennonite (Fr. - Sterling, Ill.)
Landis broke the school record in the 5000-meter run at the Hilton Garden Invitational.  He finished 16th overall and first among NCAA Division III competitors with a time of 15:45.09, eclipsing the previous EMU standard by five seconds.

Chad Norton, Guilford (Sr. - Walled Lake, Mich.)
Norton ran the 4th-fastest 3,000-meters among division III competitors at the Hilton Garden Invitational, finishing 18th overall.  His time of 8:52.73 is the seventh fastest in GC history.  He also competed in the mile run, posted a time of 4:27.39 to finished 24th overall and second among D3 competition.  It ranks third in school history.

Harrison Toney, Roanoke (So. - Roanoke, Va.)
Toney was a member of the Maroons' distance medley relay team that snapped a 40-year old school record at the Hilton Garden Invitational.  RC finished in 10:32.53 to top the ODAC seasonal lists.  Toney also ran 8:47.24 in the 3,000-meter run to place 13th overall.

Zander Tallman, Washington and Lee (Sr. - Grand Blanc, Mich.)
Tallman posted ODAC top times in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes this past weekend at the Bison Open & Multis at Bucknell University.  He won the 400m in 49.57 seconds, and finished third in the 200m in 22.46.  He also ran a leg on the Generals' distance medley relay team, which sits second in the ODAC with a time of 10:33.65, good for seventh place.
