Danyelle McGrady, Shenandoah, Sr., Throws

McGrady, a senior from Luray, Va., picks up her third field athlete award of the season after a strong showing in the throws at the Finn Pincus Invitational. McGrady won the weight throw with a school-record toss of 16.02 meters (52' 6.75"), further strengthening her hold on the #1 position in the ODAC seasonal ranks. She is currently 0.16 meters from tying the ODAC record. Her throw of 16.02 meters is ranked 26th in NCAA Division III. McGrady also threw the shot put, posting a mark of 10.87 meters (35' 8.0") to finish seventh overall and move into fourth on the ODAC season chart.

Gallagher hit a season-best mark of 2.98m (9' 9.25") in the pole vault to finish sixth at the Finn Pincus Invitational and move into third on the ODAC season chart.

Becca Benfield, Guilford (Sr.)
Benfield posted the ODAC's eighth-best throw in the shot put at 10.60 meters (34' 9.5") to finish 11th at the Finn Pincus Invitational.

Madeline Van Aken, Lynchburg (So.)
Van Aken registered a new personal-best in the pole vault at the Finn Pincus Invitational, reaching 3.31 meters (10' 3.25") to finish second overall and move into second on the ODAC chart.

Lizzy Stanton, Washington and Lee (Sr.)
Stanton continued her upward progression in the pole vault at the Sweetheart Multi-Mix, finishing eighth overall and first among D-III competitors at 3.51 meters (11' 6.25"), which improves her hold on #1 in the ODAC and ranks 30th in the country.
