Donovan Fiore, Washington and Lee, So.

Fiore, a sophomore from Gilbert, Ariz., ran twice at the VMI Winter Relays over the weekend. Fiore tied the Washington and Lee record in the 200-meter dash after finishing 10th of 57 athletes overall and tops among Division III competitors with a time of 22.31 seconds. That mark ranks just outside the nation's top-50. When converted to a flat-track time for the ODAC lists, Fiore's converted time of 22.71 seconds is #1 on the ODAC seasonal chart. He also ran a league of W&L's 4x400-meter relay team, which finished sixth over 17 squads overall and second among D-III units at 3:24.65. The converted time of 3:27.93 is second in the ODAC.

Men's Indoor Track - Track Athletes Honor Roll

Alex Galloway, BC: placed ninth in the 400m dash (49.87) and 12th in the 200m dash (22.49) at the VMI Winter Relays. His 200m time is a personal-best and his 400m time when converted for banking (50.67) is third in the ODAC.

Conor Cahill, LC: Helped LC to a new ODAC best time of 3:27.17 in the 4x400m relay at the VMI Winter Relays. LC's time of 3:23.9 on the banked course finished fifth overall. Cahill was the top D3 finisher in the 500m run (1:09.63) and ran a personal-best in the 400m dash (52.45) in placing 33rd overall.

 

Justin Mehrer, SU: set a school-record for the third straight week, this time in the mile run at the VMI Winter Relays. His time of 4:22.55 was fourth overall and tops among D3 competition. When converted to flat track for ODAC rankings, his mark of 4:25.91 is second in the ODAC.
