Jayla Cross, Virginia Wesleyan, So.

Cross, a sophomore from Franklin, Va., put together a strong showing in four events at the Captains Invitational and Combined Events including two top-10 finishes in sprints and a pair of relay victories. Cross was the second fastest Division III competitor in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. She was third overall in the 400m at 1:02.56, which is #1 in the ODAC this season. She chimed in eighth overall in the 200m at 27.20 seconds, which is second in the conference ranks. Cross also ran a leg in both the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relays. The Marlins won the 200-meter event in 1:51.40 and stopped the watches first in the 4x400-meter race in an ODAC-best 4:14.66.

Women's Indoor Track - Track Athletes Honor Roll

Samantha Schreiber, LC: was the top Division III finisher in the 3000m run at the Keydet Invitational. She finished with a time of 10:33.89 to place 12th overall. When converted for track banking, she slots third in the ODAC at 10:39.35. Also ran a leg of LC's distance medley relay team, which placed third and top D3 at 12:37.50. That is #1 in the ODAC when converted to 12:45.61 for banking. *

Quinn Harlan, RC: better her previous ODAC season-best time in the 60m dash with a time of 7.75 seconds at the Keydet Invitational. She was 14th overall and tops in Division III in the event. That time snapped a Roanoke record and ranks third in the country.

Katie Harris, W&L: finished seventh overall and first among Division III competitors in the 5,000m run at the Keydet Invitational with a time of 18:49.39. When converted for banking, that time is tops in the ODAC at 18:58.09. *

* the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships will be competed on a banked track. Any time in an event 200-meter or longer and competed on a flat track will be converted for banking on the NCAA rankings list. If the event was competed on a banked track, the time will be converted to flat track conditions for ODAC qualifying.
