DJ Petty, Randolph, Sr., Sprints/Hurdles

Petty, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., opened up his season with a trio of strong performances at the Bast-Cregger Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Petty showed his class in his specialty, the 60-meter hurdles, as he won his preliminary heat with a time of 8.37-seconds, the ninth-fastest in NCAA Division III and tops in the ODAC. He later won the event at 8.44-seconds. Petty was arguably quicker in the 60-meter dash as he burned to 6.98-seconds to finish second in the finals. His prelim time of 6.92-seconds is #2 in the ODAC and #3 in the country. Petty also helped Randolph to third in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:36.76.
