Felston, junior from Dover, Pa., put together a pair of strong throwing performances at the Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University to open the 2022 calendar year. Felston finished second overall in both the shot put and the weight throw. She heaved the shot 10.30 meters (33-9.50), which is the fifth-best time in the ODAC this season. She tossed the weight 12.85 meters (42-2.00), which is second in the conference only to her previous season-best throw (13.66m) set at the Bast-Cregger Invitational in December.
