Kindig, a graduate student from Spotsylvania, Va., picks up his second straight and third overall weekly award of the season following a strong outing at the River Hawk Friday Night Showdown hosted by Susquehanna University. Kindig, who already set the ODAC record (19.27m) in the weight throw earlier this season, won the event featuring 29 competitors with a toss of 18.77 meters (61-7.00). The only ODAC throws to beat that mark this season are his own. His toss of 18.77 meters would slot seventh-best in Division III this season. Kindig also placed fifth in the shot put at 13.60 meters (44-7.50).
