Tor Hotung-Davidsen, Lynchburg, Jr., Mid-Distance

Davidsen, a junior from Oakton, Va., etched his name in the ODAC record books as part of two runs at the Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University (Ohio). Hotung-Davidsen won the 800-meter run in a field of 53 Division III competitors with a time of 1:50.43. That snapped his own ODAC and Lynchburg records in the event set last season at 1:51.75. His new time is also the third-fastest in the country this season. When converted to 200-meter flat track specifications for ODAC rankings, his mark tops the conference list by 2.58 seconds over teammate Marko Kovacevic, who finished fifth in the same race. Hotung-Davidsen was joined by Kovacevic, Sam Llaneza, and Chasen Hunt in the 4x400-meter relay. They placed third at 3:24.35, which converts to 3:27.62 and ranks second in the ODAC.
