Hotung-Davidsen, a junior from Oakton, Va., earns his second weekly award after setting not just one but two ODAC records in his two events at the NCAA Division I heavy David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University. For the second time this season, Hotung-Davidsen reset the ODAC 800-meter run record. He finished 17th overall and second among Division III competitors with a time of 1:49.17. That time is the second-fastest in Division III this season. When converted to flat/200-meter track parameters for ODAC rankings, his converted time of 1:50.74 tops the conference by nearly four seconds. Hotung-Davidsen joined teammates Chasen Hunt, Marko Kovacevic, and Sam Llaneza in snapping ODAC record in the distance medley relay. They posted a 10th-place time of 9:53.93, which was the third-best D-III time at the meet. That time, which ranks seventh in the country, broke the ODAC record of 9:55.08 set by Lynchburg last season. Hotung-Davidsen and Llaneza were members of that squad. When converted for ODAC rankings, their time of 10:02.01 is more than 24 seconds faster than the next ODAC mark.
