Burnett, a junior from Fairfax, Va., put together a pair of strong outings in helping the Hornets to a 1-1 week. He opened with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting in a 64-59 win over Guilford. He canned a trio from beyond the arc and added four rebounds, two assists and four steals, the latter number tying the ODAC individual game season-high. Burnett tied a second conference season-high mark in the Lynchburg's 86-78 setback at Virginia Wesleyan as he buried 8-of-12 three-pointers on the way to an ODAC weekly-high 28 points. He was 10-of-23 overall from the field, chipping in seven rebounds anda blocked shot. For the year, Burnett is fifth in the ODAC at 17.1 points per game and sixth in overall scoring with 256 points. He fifth in field goals made (92) and seventh in three-pointers made (35).
