Phillips, a junior from Waynesboro, Virginia, continues to perform at a high level for the Royals, as he showed on two occasions this past week. The 6-3 forward led all scorers with 27 points in EMU's win against Guilford, canning 10 of 17 shots. He also had game highs of five assists, three steals and one blocked shot - all in just 24 minutes. In Saturday's 123-73 rout of Roanoke, Phillips nailed six of eight shots in just 13 minutes. He also dished out another six assists and had three steals. For the week, Phillips averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3 steals. He also shot 64% from the floor and hit 5-12 three pointers. He totaled 43 points in only 37 minutes.
