Phillips, a junior from Waynesboro, Virginia, posted a pair of double doubles last week, his sixth and seventh of the year, as he helped lead EMU to three wins to close the regular season. Phillips was at his best in Wednesday's win over rival Bridgewater, breaking a four-game losing streak to the Eagles.  The junior drilled 10-of-17 shots and had game highs of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Phillips scored nine straight of EMU's points during a late surge to seal the win over BC. Saturday against Washington & Lee, Phillips took another route to assure victory as he dished out a game high seven assists. For the week, Phillips averaged 16.7 points, 10 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
