Hunt, a sophomore from Buford, Ga., continued his big play
to open the season for the WildCats, helping them to two wins and
nearly a third, falling in overtime to Ferrum last Monday. Against
the Panthers, he finished with 18 points, five boards and three
assists. Later in the week, he led the WildCats to their first ODAC
win of the season, pouring in a game-high 20 points to go with
seven rebounds, making 11-of-16 from the charity stripe. Saturday,
he hit the game-winning shot with less than ten seconds to play in
a victory over Washington & Lee. He made all but one of his
eight field goals, grabbing five defensive caroms as well.
For the week, Hunt averaged 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0
assists and 2.0 steals per game.
