Hunt, a sophomore from Buford, Ga., earns his second weekly
award of the season. Hunt continued to showcase his
scoring touch over the past week, as he averaged 21.5 points a game
in two big conference wins for the WildCats. Hunt shot 68.2 percent
from the field (15-of-22), knocking down 3-of-6 from deep and
making 10-of-14 from the line. He also chalked up three steals, had
four assists and grabbed 4.5 rebounds a game this week. On
Wednesday, Hunt scored a career-high 26 points against Roanoke,
making nine-of-14 from the floor. Hunt was also huge on defense
this week, as he helped the WildCats force ODAC top scorers Melvin
Felix (RC) and George Johnson (EMU) to only four combined points on
2-of-18 shooting. He scored a team-high 17 points in the
WildCats win over EMU, marking the program's first victory over a
nationally ranked opponent in men's hoops history.
