Hunt, a senior from Whittier, N.C., earns his fourth weekly
award of the season after helping the WildCats to a 2-1 record and
averaging 30.3 points per game last week. The ODAC's leading
scorer (26.2 ppg) enters this week ranked second in the country, a
mark that was aided by a pair of 30-plus point efforts for
Randolph. He opened with a career-high tying 36 markers on
13-of-26 shooting in an 80-63 win at William Peace. He added
six rebounds, four assists and three steals. During the
midweek, Hunt poured in 33 points as he made 14-of-16 free throws
in a 79-63 loss to Hampden-Sydney. He chipped in nine
rebounds, four assists and three more takeaways against the Tigers.
Hunt capped his week with 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting in a
65-50 win at Shenandoah. He was 4-of-6 from three-point
range, and added five boards, two assists and a steal against the
Hornets.
