Arnold, a senior from Gate City, Va., helped the Hornets to a pair of ODAC top-three wins last week, which afforded Lynchburg the #1 seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament. Arnold led all players in scoring with 41 points in the Hornets record-setting 160-156 double-overtime win over Roanoke. The 316 combined points set a new NCAA Division III single-game record, while LC's 160 points marks a new ODAC standard. Arnold's 41 points are the most by an ODAC player this season as he went 14-of-21 from the field and 13-of-15 from the foul line. He added six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a blocked shot. He had a steal and the clinching free throws in the final seconds of the second extra frame to secure LC's victory. Arnold registered his second double-double of the year in the Hornets 80-75 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan in the regular season finale. He notched 17 points, going 9-of-10 from the line, and added 10 rebounds. He also chipped in an assist and a steal. For the season, Arnold is averaging 13.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game after missing 10 contests due to injury midway thru the schedule. He's shooting 83.3-percent (65-of-78) from the charity stripe.
