William Brueggeman, Washington and Lee, Jr., Guard

Brueggeman, a junior from Houston, Texas, put together a pair of strong outings to help Washington and Lee run its winning streak to four straight games and move into a tie for fourth in the ODAC table. In the Generals 70-64 victory over Roanoke, Brueggeman tied a school record with seven-made three-pointers on the way to 28 points. He was 8-of-17 overall from the field including 7-of-13 from deep and canned 5-of-6 shots from the line. He added six rebounds and an assist to his line. At Lynchburg over the weekend, Brueggeman hit two more three points as part of a 6-for-12 shooting day to help W&L to an 84-80 triumph. He finished with 18 points and has added a 4-of-4 showing from the stripe and chipped in four rebounds. For the season, Brueggeman leads the ODAC in points scored (331) and scoring (18.4). He is second in three-pointers made (51-of-134), third in field goals made (108-of-238) and free throws made (64-of-79), and fourth in free throw shooting (81.0%) and defensive rebounds (115). He has scored 20 or more points in 10-of-18 games played.
