Suggs, a junior from Raleigh, N.C., exploded for 82 points over three games last week, helping Lynchburg secure a trio of victories. Suggs opened his week with 18 points on 6-of-13 from the field including 4-of-8 from downtown in an 88-68 win at N.C. Wesleyan. He added five steals and four assists to his line. Then in Lynchburg's opening game of the Wayne Proffitt Classic, Suggs registered the most points a player has scored in a game in NCAA Division III so far this season with 50 points in a 91-80 triumph over Pfeiffer. He is just the second player in program history to score at least 50 points in a game. Suggs was 14-of-30 from the field with a 5-for-11 showing from three-point territory. He was also 13-of-14 from the stripe. He added seven rebounds, four assists, and a pair of steals to his historic outing. Suggs capped his week with 14 points and five rebounds in a 93-69 win over Methodist. He was 4-for-8 from the field and 5-of-6 from the line in that contest. Thru the first two weekends of the season, Suggs is third in the ODAC in scoring (22.4). He is first in overall points (112), field goals made (37-of-79), free throws made (23-of-26), and steals. He is second in three-pointers made (15-of-33) and fifth in assists (14).
