Brueggeman, a senior from Houston, Texas, stuffed the stat sheet in a pair of Washington and Lee wins last week to help the Generals improve to 3-1 and extend their winning streak to three straight games. Brueggeman opened with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting including 5-of-8 from deep and 3-of-4 from the foul line in a 98-85 win over Emory & Henry. As part of that scoring effort, he became the 28th player in W&L men's basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points. He added eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals against the Wasps. In a 93-87 victory at Shenandoah, Brueggeman set a new career-high with 32 points. He established in a new Generals' record for three-pointers made in a game in going 8-of-13 from beyond the arc. He finished 9-of-15 from the field overall and went 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. He chipped in eight boards, two assists, and a steal. For the season, Brueggeman is sixth in the ODAC in scoring at 17.5 points per game. His 81.1-percent showing at the foul line ranks seventh in the league.
