Talbert, a senior from Virginia Beach, Va., picks up his second weekly award of the season after helping nationall second-ranked Randolph-Macon to a pair of ODAC victories last week. Both of those games were also home contests and the associated wins extended the Yellow Jackets home winning streak to a Division III tying 62 straight triumphs in Crenshaw Gymnasium. Talbert helped R-MC escape Averett with a 53-51 last-second victory. He notched 19 points on 9-of-15 shooting. He added a pair of rebounds to go with four assists, and two steals. On the weekend against Roanoke, Talbert registered 16 points in the Yellow Jackets 69-50 victory. He was 7-of-12 from the field and nailed both of his foul shots. He pulled down four rebounds and dished out a pair of assists to go with four steals. For the season, Talbert leads the ODAC in steals (58) while averaging 15.0 point and 3.5 rebounds. He is third in assists (104), fourth in field goal shooting (55.8%), and fifth in field goals made (153-of-274). He has registered 360 total points, which is tied for eighth along with his scoring average.
