Roanoke Enters Postseason as Top Seed
SALEM, Va. --- Roanoke College enters the ODAC
Men's Soccer Tournament on several highs as Tuesday's 9-1 win over
Bridgewater College secured the top seed and home-field advantage
throughout the conference postseason tournament. Lynchburg
College earned the second seed while Virginia Wesleyan College and
Hampden-Sydney College round out the top four, sequentially.
Washington and Lee University leapt into the #5 slot with its
victory over Randolph College on Tuesday. The loss didn't end
the WildCats' postseason dreams as Randolph owns the #7 seed and
receives it first berth into the men's soccer postseason.
Eastern Mennonite earns the six seed via head-to-head tie-breaker
with Randolph. Randolph-Macon College holds down the eighth
seed to cap the tournament field.
ODAC tournament action begins Saturday, November 1, with four
quarterfinal matchups to be played at the highest four seeds.
The winners will play Wednesday, November 5, at the two highest
remaining seeds. The ODAC Championship will take place on
Saturday, November 8, on the campus of the remaining highest
seed.
