Releford, a freshman from Blacksburg, Va., burst into the starting lineup last week with immediate benefits. In his first collegiate start Wednesday, Releford made eight saves as the Hornets defeated Virginia Wesleyan 1-0 in ODAC play. LC played Salisbury, ranked second in the region by the NSCAA, to a 0-0 double-overtime tie Saturday. Releford made 11 stops to keep his team in the game despite being out-shot, 32-10.

Morris continued his solid play in goal, allowing
just one goal in two games this past week. Morris allowed
just one goal and recorded four saves in a 1-0 loss at Averett. He
recorded a 1-0 shutout victory over E&H to lead the Eagles to
their first conference win of the year. He finished with two saves
in the match.
Peter Truitt, Guilford College, Junior, Goalkeeper
Truitt recorded 10 saves in two games, both shutout
victories for the Quakers… Made 5 stops in just under 80
minutes of the Quaker’s 5-0 win at Greensboro… Made 5
stops for his second shutout of the season, a 2-0 nothing ODAC
triumph at Randolph-Macon…Recorded a 1.00 save percentage
and 0.0 goals against average for the week.
Jacob Lusczek, Randolph College, Freshman,
Midfielder
Swindle posted the school’s first ever hat-trick in
men’s soccer history, netting three goals against the
Panthers of Ferrum College. He also assisted on another goal in
that contest, helping with one of Jacob Hood’s two goals. On
the year, Sindle has five goals and one assist.
