Leap, a senior from Harrisonburg, Va., collects his second weekly award of the season after having a hand in a pair of game-winning goals for the ODAC-leading Royals. In Wednesday’s win over Hampden-Sydney, Leap assisted on Muoka Musau’s game-winning goal in the 68th minute. Then on Saturday against Guilford, Leap scored the game-winner in the 77th minute on a breakaway shot from the top of the 18-yard box. He is tied for second in the ODAC with eight goals and second with 18 points. Leap tops the league with five game-winning goals. The forward is also on top of all three categories in ODAC-only games.

Sam McGarrity, Randolph, Junior, Midfielder
McGarrity scored one of the biggest goals of his career
Wednesday at Lynchburg College, heading a corner kick past the LC
keeper in overtime to give the WildCats their first-ever win over
the Hornets in school history. For McGarrity, it was his first goal
of the season and first goal since his freshman campaign.
Tommy Fisher, Randolph-Macon, Sophomore, Midfielder
Fisher dished out two assists and scored the
game-winner in first ever victory over Randolph, 3-2, Saturday
afternoon. Fisher helped the Yellow Jackets take an early
lead when he found David Sullivan for his first assist, just three
minutes into play. In the second half, he played a ball
across the box to a streaking Johnny Bustillo to again take a
one-goal advantage. Six minutes later, Ethan Cornelio played
a direct kick into the box that Fisher headed backwards, just past
the keeper for the game-winner. The Yellow Jackets were held
scoreless in a 3-0 loss to Averett earlier in the week.
Justin TenBrook, Washington and Lee, Sophomore,
Midfielder
TenBrook registered two goals and an assist over a 6:52 span
in the first half during a 4-0 non-conference victory over Southern
Virginia on Wednesday. He started the scoring just 1:56 into the
contest with a goal, and struck again just over three minutes
later. His final point came in the ninth minute when he set up
classmate Parker Wolfinger for a goal. His first goal of the
contest was his first collegiate goal. TenBrook started the
Generals other contest of the week at Virginia Wesleyan (W, 1-0),
finishing with one shot. He is currently tied for the team
lead with six points (2g, 2a) on the season.
